Yesterday Cambridge experienced a fantastic display of resistance. Thousands of workers from Cambridgeshire, many on strike for the first time, took to the streets as part of generalised strikes against the government’s changes to pensions provisions and austerity programme.
There are two feeder marches assembling at 10am. One from Addenbrookes Hospital and one from Shire Hall. The main March and rally will start at 12 noon on Parkers Piece.
