Cambridge Bedroom Tax Protest

On Saturday 16 March, 1pm outside Guildhall, Market Square, there will be a demonstration in opposition to the Government’s planned ‘bedroom tax’, due to come into effect on April 1st. This selectively-applied benefit cut will in particular affect disabled people, foster parents, single parents and families with a recently bereaved member, and may force people to move to less appropriate and more expensive housing.
